Who We Are

Melinda and Jason are a well known 'Power Couple' based in Toowoomba, bringing a personal touch and family vibe to their craft.

After their engagement in 2022, Melinda relocated from the Gold Coast to Jason's hometown, Toowoomba. Together they launched Rose & Thorn Tattoo Studio in 2023, followed by Body Toowoomba in 2024.

Jason's passion for Scalp Micro Pigmentation along side Melinda's Medical tattooing has quickly established them as the go-to artists in Queensland, with several awards recognising Jason's realistic SMP results.

By 2026, their talented team has expanded to over 10+ members, all dedicated to maintaining the meticulous attention to detail and high standards that Melinda and Jason uphold.

Their warm and inviting studio is a haven for those seeking quality and comfort, and their remarkable journey together led them to tattooing well-known local reality TV celebrities, boxing champions, and world famous musicians like Teddy Swims, with whom they enjoy a close friendship, reconnecting during his annual Australian tours.
