Shipping Policy for Body Toowoomba

Trading as Body Toowoomba
144 Campbell Street. Toowoomba 4350 Queensland. Australia.

Admin@bodytoowoomba.com

This policy applies to physical products bought through our website.

Tattoo appointments, medical tattoo treatments, and in-studio services are not shipped goods and are not covered here.

1. What we ship

We ship physical retail products only, such as aftercare, skincare, and studio merchandise listed on the website at the time of order.

We do not ship:

  • prescription medicines or pharmacy-only products

  • products we are not legally allowed to send to your location

  • made-to-order or personalised items unless the product page says we do

  • dangerous goods that a carrier will not accept

If a product cannot legally be posted to you, we will cancel that item and refund the product price. Shipping already paid on a mixed order is refunded only for the cancelled item’s share.

2. Where we ship

We currently ship within Australia only.

We do not ship to international addresses, freight-forwarding addresses, or parcel lockers outside our stated carriers. An order placed with an address we cannot ship to may be cancelled and refunded, less any non-refundable payment fees charged by our payment provider.

PO Boxes and Parcel Collect addresses are accepted only where the carrier and the product allow it. Large, fragile, or signature-required items may be restricted to a street address. If you give an address the carrier will not deliver to, clause 8 applies.

3. Processing time

Orders are processed on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding Queensland and national public holidays).

  • In-stock items: dispatched within 1–3 business days of cleared payment.

  • Pre-order or back-order items: dispatched within the timeframe shown on the product page.

  • Orders placed after 2:00 pm AEST are treated as received the next business day.

Dispatch means we have handed the parcel to the carrier. It does not mean the carrier has scanned it. A dispatch email or tracking number is confirmation that it has left us, not a guaranteed delivery date.

We may split an order into more than one parcel. You will not be charged extra shipping for a split we choose to make.

4. Shipping cost and method

Shipping is calculated at checkout and paid by you, unless a product page or promotion says otherwise.

Rates depend on destination, weight, and the service selected. The checkout rate is an estimate based on the details you enter. If the packed weight or dimensions differ, we may contact you to pay the difference before dispatch, or we may cancel and refund the order.

Available services are those shown at checkout, generally Australia Post and/or a courier. We choose packaging we consider suitable. We do not guarantee a particular delivery speed once the parcel is with the carrier.

Free-shipping offers, if any, apply only to the delivery address and order value stated in the offer, and exclude remote-area surcharges unless we say otherwise.

5. Delivery estimates

Any delivery timeframe on the website, checkout, or in an email is an estimate supplied by the carrier. It is not a guaranteed delivery date.

We are not liable for carrier delays, including weather, public holidays, peak periods, industrial action, incorrect scans, or holds by the carrier. Time is not of the essence.

6. When risk passes

Title in the goods passes to you when we receive cleared payment.

Risk in the goods passes to you when we hand the parcel to the carrier, or to you if you collect it. From that point, loss or damage in transit is between you and the carrier, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires us to remedy a failure.

This does not exclude your non-excludable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

7. Tracking

Where the service includes tracking, we will email the tracking number after dispatch. Tracking can take 24–48 hours to show the first scan. A missing first scan is not proof the parcel was not lodged.

You are responsible for monitoring tracking and for being available to receive the parcel, including any signature or authority-to-leave choice you make.

8. Wrong, incomplete, or undeliverable addresses

You must give a complete, correct delivery address and a phone number the carrier can use. We send to the address supplied at checkout.

If a parcel is refused, unclaimed, or cannot be delivered because of an incorrect, incomplete, or inaccessible address, a missed delivery, a refused delivery, or failure to collect from a post office or depot then this will result in a loss at the expense of the customer. If the product is returned to Body Toowoomba then:

  • we may refund the product price only, less the original shipping fee and any return-to-sender cost, or

  • we may offer to reship only after you pay a new shipping fee and any carrier fees already incurred

  •

We do not refund shipping on an order that could not be delivered for these reasons. If the goods are lost on the return journey or damaged because they were refused or unclaimed, we may refuse a replacement.

9. Lost parcels

Contact us within 7 days of the last tracking update, or within 7 days of the end of the carrier’s estimated window if there is no tracking.

We will lodge a missing-parcel enquiry with the carrier. Until the carrier confirms the parcel is lost, we are not obliged to refund or replace it.

If the carrier confirms the parcel is lost:

  • we will, at our option, replace the item or refund the product price and the shipping you paid for that parcel

  • refunds are made to the original payment method within 10 business days of our decision

  •

If tracking shows delivered, we treat the parcel as delivered. A “delivered” scan, photo, or signature is evidence of delivery. Claims that a delivered parcel was not received are for you to raise with the carrier and, if relevant, your local police. We may help with information we hold, but we do not refund or replace solely because a delivered parcel cannot be found at the address.

10. Damaged parcels

Inspect the parcel on delivery. If the packaging is crushed, wet, torn, or open, note it with the carrier before accepting it where you can.

Tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with:

  • your order number

  • photos of the outer packaging, the inner packaging, and the damaged item

  • a short description of the damage

We may require you to keep all packaging for 14 days. If we accept that the goods were damaged in transit, we will, at our option, replace the item or refund the product price. We do not cover incidental costs such as travel, lost time, or consequential loss, to the extent the law allows us to exclude them.

Minor packaging scuffs that do not affect the product are not damage.

11. Signature, authority to leave, and safe-drop

If you select or the carrier uses authority to leave, safe-drop, or a nominated safe place, delivery to that place is delivery to you. We are not responsible if the parcel is later taken from that place.

For higher-value orders we may require a signature. If you are not available, the carrier’s card-and-collect process applies, and clause 8 applies if you do not collect it.

12. Rural, remote, and island addresses

Some Australian addresses attract a remote-area surcharge or a longer estimate. If checkout does not capture that surcharge and the carrier charges it, we may ask you to pay it before dispatch. We may refuse remote addresses we cannot service at a reasonable cost, and will refund the order if we do.

13. Cancelled orders

You may request cancellation before dispatch by emailing [orders email]. If we have not handed the parcel to the carrier, we will cancel and refund the product price and shipping, less any non-refundable payment fee.

Once the parcel is with the carrier, it cannot be cancelled. Refusal on delivery is treated under clause 8.

14. Returns after delivery

Change-of-mind returns are accepted only if the product page or our Returns Policy says so. Opened hygiene-sensitive goods (including creams, balms, and skincare) cannot be returned for change of mind, for health and safety reasons.

Faulty goods are handled under the Australian Consumer Law and our Returns Policy. You may be asked to return the item before a remedy is given. Return postage for a confirmed failure is paid by us. Return postage for a change-of-mind return, if we allow one, is paid by you, and the item travels at your risk until we receive it in its original condition.

15. Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disaster, fire, flood, pandemic, carrier failure, government restriction, or loss of utilities. We will dispatch or refund when it becomes possible to do so.

16. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including lost profit or disappointment, arising from late, lost, or failed delivery.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other right that cannot legally be excluded. Where our liability for a failure can legally be limited, we limit it, at our option, to replacement of the goods, repair of the goods, or a refund of the price paid for the goods.
